I was lucky enough to get to go see the Daytona 24hr this year (all the way from Arizona!). I just wanted to share a few of the photos I got, I’m even sort of satisfied with 1.8 of them :)

Feel free to download any of them as a desktop background but no commercial use please.

Those close-up panning shots at the end are awesome. Nice work!

These are great! Really makes me wish I had stayed during more of the night portion.

Dirty racecars are the best racecars. Nice work! I’ve been yearning to do some night shooting but never get to up here.

Thanks man! Of course there are many hundreds that weren’t focused haha. A good friend of mine once said about shooting motorsports “You can set your shutter speed at 1/1000 of a second and freeze the action perfectly but then it looks boring, you might as well be taking pictures of parked cars.”

Thanks man! Unfortunately I only have cheap lenses (didn’t think of renting one, really should have) so it makes it awfully hard to shoot at night. Something like a Canon 70-200 F2.8L would be ideal
